Dr. Lee Pei Nee is the founder and principal prosthodontist at Maison Dentaire Specialist Clinic in Kuala Lumpur. As a registered specialist with the Malaysian Dental Council, she holds a Master of Dental Surgery in Prosthodontics from the University of Hong Kong — a consistently top-ranked dental school globally, holding the No. 1 position in Dentistry during her postgraduate training — and dual Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Prosthodontics is the dental specialty focused entirely on restoring and replacing teeth — covering everything from a single crown or veneer to complete full-mouth rehabilitation and implant restorations. It requires three additional years of specialist training beyond a dental degree, and registration with the Malaysian Dental Council as a recognised specialist.

Meet The Specialist Behind Your Smile — Dr. Lee Pei Nee

Dr. Lee Pei Nee founded Maison Dentaire after years of specialist practice across Malaysia, including clinical training at the University of Hong Kong.

What she observed over that time was consistent: patients with complex dental needs — missing teeth, worn dentition, failing restorations — were often seen briefly, handed a treatment plan they didn’t fully understand, and left to make decisions about significant procedures without enough information or time.

Maison Dentaire was founded to be different. Not a high-volume clinic, but a specialist practice where every patient gets the time their case deserves — a thorough assessment, a clear explanation of their options, and a treatment plan built around their long-term oral health rather than a quick fix.

Dr. Lee’s clinical interest lies in complex restorative cases: full-mouth

Academic & Professional Experience

Before founding Maison Dentaire, Dr. Lee served as a clinical lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), where she trained the next generation of dental professionals. This academic background strengthened her emphasis on evidence-based treatment planning, clinical precision, and clear communication with patients.

She continues to contribute to dental education as a part-time clinical lecturer at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), while remaining fully dedicated to her specialist private practice.
