Meet Dr. Lee Pei Nee

Dr. Lee Pei Nee is the founder and principal prosthodontist at Maison Dentaire Specialist Clinic in Kuala Lumpur. She founded the clinic with one clear purpose: to offer specialist prosthodontic care in a calm, unhurried environment where patients feel genuinely heard.
Her approach combines clinical precision with personalised attention. She takes time to understand each patient’s concerns, explains treatment options clearly, and builds a plan around long-term oral health — not just the immediate problem.

Qualifications & Specialist Training

  • BDS — Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Penang International Dental College (2011)
  • MDS Prosthodontics — Master of Dental Surgery in Prosthodontics, University of Hong Kong (2018)
  • MPros RCS (Edinburgh) — Membership in Prosthodontics, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh
  • MFDS RCS (Edinburgh) — Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh

  • MFDS RCPS (Glasgow) — Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow

Her MDS was completed at the University of Hong Kong, which held the QS World No. 1 ranking in Dentistry for three consecutive years during her postgraduate studies — reflecting the depth and rigour of her specialist training.

Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Glasgow represents one of the most respected professional recognitions in dentistry worldwide, awarded only to clinicians who meet demanding clinical and academic standards.

Dr. Lee is registered as a specialist in prosthodontics with the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC) — Malaysia’s official regulatory body for dental professionals.

Academic & Professional Experience

Before founding Maison Dentaire, Dr. Lee served as a clinical lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), where she trained the next generation of dental professionals. This academic background strengthened her emphasis on evidence-based treatment planning, clinical precision, and clear communication with patients.

She continues to contribute to dental education as a part-time clinical lecturer at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), while remaining fully dedicated to her specialist private practice.
